Can I come and try out the minibus before hiring it?
Yes, we offer test drives by appointment to familiarise you with the vehicle prior to your hire. This is particularly recommended if you have never driven a minibus before.
Can I take out my own insurance policy for minibus hire?
Yes, under certain conditions. Although basic insurance is always included in our self-drive minibus hire rates, you can opt to take out your own insurance if it meets our cover criteria.
To do this, you will need to provide us with :
- A certificate from your insurer explicitly stating that the rental vehicles are covered
- Proof that the cover offered meets our minimum requirements (third-party liability, vehicle damage, etc.)
- A document confirming that a minibus in the relevant category will be taken in charge.
This option may be of interest if you already have comprehensive car insurance or a premium bank card offering this cover. Contact us before booking to check the eligibility of your policy and any administrative formalities you may need to complete.
Is it compulsory to clean the minibus on return?
Yes, a basic cleaning of the minibus is required on return. We expect the vehicle to be returned in a reasonable state of cleanliness
. If the vehicle is returned in an abnormally dirty state (excessive mud, stains, abundant rubbish), an additional cleaning fee may be charged according to the scale indicated in your rental contract.
For added convenience, we also offer a "cleaning package" option, to be booked at the time of rental.
What are the terms of payment?
- A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking.
- The balance must be paid at the latest when picking up the vehicle.
- A deposit (between €1,000 and €2,000 depending on the model) will be requested by cheque and returned once the vehicle has been checked.
For companies and associations, we also offer formulas with payment on invoice, subject to acceptance of your application.
